The Birds by Aristophanes
in a new version by Brian Reno & Gabriel Weissman
directed by Gabriel Weissman

In Aristophanes’ classic comedy, The Birds, Euelpides and Pisthetarus escape Athens, where the citizens are too busy arguing about laws and become denizens of Cloud Cuckooland, living with the birds. As funny and topical as it was when it was written in 414 BCE, The Birds questions if we can ever build a wall around those who we want to keep out.

Sides will be provided

The show runs Sept. 23 - 25 and Sept 30 - October 2
