Don’t miss the 6th annual Downtown Scavenger Hunt on Friday, August 26!
Explore over 30 downtown eateries, shops and entertainment venues with hundreds of your fellow University of Scranton students.
This fun, interactive orientation to downtown Scranton is part of Fall Welcome Week and is open to all students. Last year over 250 participated!
The Downtown Scavenger Hunt is organized by the Office of Community Relations in cooperation with the Center for Student Engagement at The University of Scranton, The University of Scranton Small Business Development Center, Scranton Tomorrow Main Street Scranton, The Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce, & MetroAction.
Team up in groups of 2, bring a smartphone or camera, and follow the clues via Facebook, Snapchat, or at the locations to find Iggy! Free T-Shirts for the first 150 Students! Win major prizes, including a gift certificate to POSH at SC, 2 tickets to a Broadway In Scranton show, and more!
New this year - use your Pokémon GO app to see which Pokéstop Iggy is hiding at in downtown Scranton. Also, follow us on Snapchat at "uofscommunity" to see where the real Iggy is roaming around downtown. Find Iggy and take a photo with him. Send it to community@scranton.edu or upload it to Instagram with #UofSDowntown. Prizes for best pictures include $25 gift certificates to the Radisson’s restaurants!
Registration will begin at 3:00 p.m. on DeNaples Patio. The Scavenger Hunt will run from 3:30-5 p.m. throughout downtown, ending with an Award Reception at 5 p.m. at the Marketplace at Steamtown, right outside of Crunch - Scranton!
