30th Annual Take Back the Night

Thursday, 23 April, 2020

Join the Jane Kopas Women's Center as we present the 30th annual Take Back the Night at The University of Scranton.  Take Back the Night is a 4 part event seeking to educate about and advocate for an end to all forms of sexual, gender-based, and interpersonal violence.

The Clothesline Project, a visual display of current and former community members' expeirences with violence, will be hung around the Dionne Green all day.  Our Pre-Rally, an educational fair, will be held from 5pm to 7pm on the Dionne Green (rain location: The Byron Center). Then we will march around campus to protest violence and give voice to experiences, and will end at the Alumni Memorial Green, where individuals who have experienced violence are able to share their story.
