2019 Roden B. Davis Distinguished Author Award

Madeline Miller, author of two New York Times bestsellers, will receive the 2019 Royden B. Davis, S.J., Distinguished Author Award from The University of Scranton’s Friends of the Weinberg Memorial Library on Saturday, Oct. 5.

The event begins with a book signing, which is free & open to the public from 4 to 5 p.m. on the 2nd floor of the DeNaples Center. Books will be available for sale.

The dinner and award presentation begins at 5 pm in The University of Scranton McIllheny Ballroom. RESERVATIONS AND TICKETS ARE REQUIRED for the dinner and award presentation.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Friends of the Library Endowment Fund, which supports special gifts for the Weinberg Library collections and services.
