U of S Players Present: Language of Angels

The University of Scranton Players kicks 2013 with Language of Angel by Naomi Iizuka. This modern ghost story, set in the caves of North Carolina, tells the story of the mysterious disappearance of Celie Gaines and the effect her disappearance has on those close to her. Each of the characters reveals how that night haunts them and changes their lives forever. Directed by acclaimed NYC-based director  José Zayas (Clean House, Tiny Alice), this production is guaranteed to transport audiences into the  void between angels and humanity.

The cast features:  Tim Flynn, Catherine Fischer, Megan Lasky, Joe McGurl, Cillian Byrne, Keri Irace, Kiley Lotz, and Michael Kranick.

The production staff for Language of Angels includes Richard Larsen, Producer/ Set Designer/Lighting Designer; Janice Tellier, Costume Designer; Conway Rowe, Sound  Designer , Xiomara Rolon, Assistant Director,  James Shygelski, Stage Manager, and Assistant Stage Managers Camille Reinecke and Megan Esty.

Performances are on Friday, March 8 -Saturday, March 9, and Friday, March 15- Saturday, March 16 at 8:00 pm and on Sunday, March 10 and Sunday, March 17 beginning at 2:00 pm. All performances will take place at The University of Scranton’s Royal Theater in the McDade Center for Literary and Performing Arts.  Tickets are $10 for General Admission and $7 for Students, Faculty, Staff, and Senior Citizens.
