This lecture will focus on the evolution of the concept of freedom, how it has been understood and interpreted by the founders of our nation, how freedom intersects with issues of equality, liberty, and citizenship, and what this means for our democracy as we approach our nation’s 250th anniversary.
There will also be a watch party for University of Scranton students, faculty, and staff in the Rose Room, Brennan Hall.
