Asian Studies Program will hold one of its spring signature events, "Asian New Year Festival and Workshop" on Feb. 24, Tuesday, 6 PM, at Brennan Hall 509. It will feature chopstick competition, prizes, Asian food, presentations on Asian chopstick culture and how new year is celebrated in Japan, Taiwan, and China, as well as hands-on workshop in creating Japanese origami and Chinese calligraphy related to the Year of Tiger with the assistance from our Japnese and Chinese instructors (Kentaro Fukube and Peter Chun-Sheng Su) and students from the Japanese and Chinese classes. All safety measures will be oberserved (e.g., spaced-out seating, sanitizer, and mask on throughout the event and participants can only take off their mask when eating).

Seating is very limited. RSVP is required. Please register by using this link: https://forms.gle/tZmWirnvMUQYiVfn8
