Title IX Process Training

As some of you know, the Office of Equity and Diversity relies on your dedication and services to assist it with complying certain processes the University’s Sexual Harassment and Sexual Harassment Policy/ Title IX.  We are seeking volunteers to be trained in the following roles:

  • Advisors to the Parties
  • Decision Making Panelists
  • Appeal Panelists
  • Informal Resolution Facilitators
  • Investigators

We are looking for faculty and staff members who would be willing to serve in volunteer roles in the process and assist us in resolving these matters. There are many ways to contribute, and we ask that anyone who feels they could help us goes through the training. There will be an opportunity at the end of training to indicate which roles you are comfortable with.

 

As the regulations require, training is necessary for employees that have previously served in some or all of these roles.
