Collaborating for Change - Promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Mathematics Departments

All University faculty and staff are invited, with special interest to STEM.

Presenter:  Dr. Linda McGuire, Truman Koehler Professor of Mathematics, Muhlenberg College

Session Description: Motivated by calls for change in society at-large, Mathematics Departments throughout academia are contending with how to best cultivate inclusive, equitable, and diverse learning environments.  This challenge requires reflection, learning, understanding, and hard work done in community.  This session will focus on specific strategies faculty, staff and students can adapt and implement to engage in this process and offer a space for conversation and brainstorming for members of the Scranton community.
