Donning of the Stole Ceremony

The Multicultural Center cordially invites you to join us for our fourth annual Donning of the Stole Ceremony this Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 11:30am - Byron Recreation Center with reception to follow in the Long Center Lobby.

The Donning of the Stole Ceremony seeks to recognize and honor the success of graduating students from underrepresented backgrounds, particularly students of color. The ceremony will feature alumni, staff, and graduating seniors as speakers. Graduates that apply to participate and have been invited to attend, will be bestowed with a stole that can be worn at Commencement as a symbol of their accomplishments, followed by a reception with guests.
