“Countering the Big Business of Education by emphasizing Cura Personalis” presented by Sam Morales.

Samantha Morales, (BA, Theatre, '11) is a working actor and director, whose work includes roles in film, television and theatre, and additionally teaches at Tisch School of the Arts at NYU and AMDA (American Musical and Dramatic Academy) teaching a variety of acting and performance classes. Sam's appreciation for the liberal arts-based education she received at the University of Scranton has greatly informed her as a performer, a teacher, and as an involved citizen; her discussion will address that appreciation and the urgency needed to continue to educate the whole person through liberal arts-based education, regardless of major or specialty.
