Race and Ethnicity Awareness Workshop for Faculty and Staff Development FALL '24: The Office of Equity and Diversity in collaboration with Human Resources and the Provost, is offering a workshop for faculty and staff to guide participants through a series of reflective exercises that explore their understanding of race and ethnicity, privilege, bias and inclusion.

Presenters include Elizabeth Garcia, Special Assistant to the President and Executive Director of the Office of Equity and Diversity, and Tara Fay, Faculty Coordinator of The Center for Teaching Excellence.

Three sessions have been scheduled and will take place in the Provost's Conference Room: 

  • Thursday, October 24 from 11:25 a.m. to 12:55 p.m.
  • Friday, October 25 from 3:00-5:00 p.m
  • Wednesday, November 20 from 3:00-5:00 p.m.

Space is limited to 25 participants per session. Please choose the date that works for you.
