Data Science Day

The first annual Data Science Day is an outreach event for high school students in the greater Northeastern Pennsylvania area.  This year’s schedule of events boast a minitutorial on image visualization in the programming language R, a keynote speaker from the National Institute of Standards and Technology, and the inaugural Scranton Data Science Day Competition with cash and scholarship prizes for the top scorers.  Breakfast, lunch, and plenty of data science swag will be provided to all who attend.  A knowledge of programming is not needed to participate.
