The Schemel Forum - University for a Day 2015

The Schemel Forum will hold it's annual University for a Day event on Saturday, September 26, 2015 from 8:45am to 5:30pm in Brennan Hall - Pearn Auditorium.

Join us for all or just part of the day!

The day's events include:

REGISTRATION & COFFEE: 8:45am - 9:15am

Lecture 1: 9:30am - 10:45am
"Remember that Old New York Was Once New Amsterdam: The Dutch Roots of American Pluralism" 

Lecture 2: 11:00am - 12:15pm
"The Law of the Land: A Grand Tour of our Constitutional Republic"

LUNCH 

Lecture 3: 1:45pm - 3:00pm
"Wright* Spaces: Citizenship Learning in Liquid Times" 

Lecture 4: 3:15pm - 4:45pm
"Suis-Je Charlie? The Rhetoric of Solidarity in Civic Responses to 21st Century Terrorism"

Cost is $25 per person.  Free to Schemel Forum Members and The University of Scranton Faculty, Staff & Students.

RSVP is required.
