Volunteer & Service Fair

The Center for Service & Social Justice will be hosting a Volunteer and Service Fair on Tuesday September 9 from 11am-1pm in the DeNaples Center Ballroom, 4th floor.  We invite local non-profit community partners to come to campus to recruit volunteers for their programs in areas such as health/hospice/medical care, children and youth,older adults, social justice, food insecurity and housing program, animals, hands on and environmental projects.  Student volunteers get the opportunity to meet directly with our community partner representatives and find out what types of service opportunities are available in the Scranton community, time commitments, and information about community based learning.  Each year the fair is attended by over 50 community partners and 700 students.

Community partners may contact Ellen.Judge@scranton.edu  to register by Friday September 5. There is no pre-registration for student attendees and it open to the public.
