Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month Series - UofS Scholars in Taiwan - One Week of Intercultural Engagement

After the Japan Night on May 2 and the Zen Walk on May 3 morning, the Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month 2013 series will continue on May 3 afternoon with an Interactive Presentation by Dr. Petsas (Economics), Dr. Mohammed (Communication), and Dr. Meyer (Philosophy) about their one-week intensive cultural immersion experience in Taiwan. The event will be followed by "Frontier Taiwan: Poetry, Politics, and Identity" with Prof. Chou-Yu Cheng/Zheng (poet-in-residence, faculty emeritus, Yale University), joined by Prof. John Hill (English, UofS), Dr. Linda Ledford-Miller (World Languages and
Cultures, UofS), and students from our Chinese Mandarin classes (Co-sponsored with the Taipei Culture Center of TECO in New York).
