U of S Players present - She Loves Me

Coming back with a bang, the Royal Theatre will present She Loves Me a musical with book by Joe Masteroff, lyrics by Sheldon Hamick and music by Jerry Bock.  This quirky love story tells the tale of Amalia Balash and Georg Nowack, two coworkers who argue endlessly while working for Mr. Maraczek's Parfumerie . By day, they cannot possibly get along, but by night they are unknowingly writing loving words to each other as a part of an anonymous "dear friend" romantic pen pal service. When Georg finds out who his "dear friend" has been, he looks at their relationship and realizes all that animosity he thought he felt may have been nothing less than love in disguise. The plot of this stirring musical, popularized in the movie version titled “You’ve Got Mail”, is sure to bring out the romantic in all of us. It will run February 28, March 1, March 7-8 at 8:00 pm and March 2 & 9 at 2:00pm at the Royal Theatre (McDade Center for Literary and Performing Arts). 

General admission tickets are $10. Tickets for students, seniors, and University of Scranton faculty and staff members are $7 each.
