WHAT’S NEW IN OLD NEW YORK?
The trip will take us to the new Whitney Museum of American Art in the meat-packing district, just next to the High Line and Chelsea. Designed by Renzo Piano, one of the world’s most renowned architects, we will have the opportunity to enjoy the museum’s permanent collection and soak up the cultural life of Chelsea.
After lunch on our own we will board the bus and travel to the Roundabout Theatre Company to see Scranton-native Stephen Karam’s newest play, The Humans, which comes to New York after rave reviews in Chicago. His schedule permitting, Stephen will meet with us after the show.
Then back on the bus.
Cost is $100 per person which includes transportation and theater ticket. The bus leaves from The University of Scranton at 7:30 a.m. & returns at approximately 7:30 p.m.
