Global Insights - Spain

The Office of International Student and Scholar Services, Cross Cultural Centers, Residence Life and Office of Equity and Diversity will host the Global Insights program on October 15, 2015 at 11:30AM in the DeNaples Student Center, Room 405. The lunch and learn series will be held three times per semester and feature our international students and others as presenters. Huey Shi Chew, director of the International Student and Scholar Services, and coordinator of the project relates “The main goal of the Global Insights is to provide a learning opportunity for the University of Scranton students to encounter, first hand, a different culture or perspective, right here on campus. Students will share their personal experiences and insights form a grass roots level.”

The next prgram features a presentaiton on Spain given by international students Marina Alvarez Gonzelea, Manuel Cabello Reyes, and Patricia Dominguez Gonzalez, of who are exchange students from Universidad Pontificia Comillas. Attendees will enjoy a taste of the featured culture with native ethnic foods.
