Shot with a crew of refugees who felt the urgency to conveny their situation to the world, Rerquiem offers an unprecedented in-depth perspective on the daily lives and feelings from refugees. The film was shot on location in Northern Iraq in stark black and white, telling the story of the dire conditions and anxiety faced by refugees, as well as a celebration of the human spirit facing adversity. The film will be followed by a discussion led by faculty and staff members Dr. Gretchen J. Van Dyke, Dr. Christian Krokus, Melinda Krokus and Julie Schumacher Cohen
