January New Student Orientation

Welcome to The University of Scranton!  We are so glad that you have chosen to make the University your home.  With rigorous academics and a vibrant, welcoming campus community, we believe that Scranton will provide you with the opportunities to challenge yourself to reach your highest potential and support you throughout your journey here.

We have planned Orientation with three primary goals in mind:

  • To welcome you to The University of Scranton and introduce the history, traditions, and values of our community. 
  • To introduce students to the rigorous academic life of the university and the opportunities, responsibilities, and resources of the Scranton curriculum. 
  • To assist you in connecting with the community of your peers and the larger campus and local community.

Orientation for new students will begin at 10am in the DeNaples Center.  For more information, please contact the Center for Student Engagement at 570.941.6233.
