Setting the Stage for Success: Effective Behavioral Strategies for Students with
Special Needs
Barbara Haas-Givler, MEd, BCBA, Director of Education & Behavioral Outreach, ADMI
In addition to a review of the ABCs of Behavior, this presentation will provide information to assist staff in the identification and selection of effective behavioral strategies to support students with special needs.

Fostering Social Skills Development in Children with Disabilities
Cora M. Taylor, PhD, Pediatric Psychologist, ADMI
This presentation will provide an overview of current, evidence-based practices
for supporting social skills development in children with disabilities. Resources and
strategies for implementing social skills supports into the classroom, home, and
community will be included.

This free training series is presented by Geisinger’s Autism & Developmental Medicine Institute (ADMI) in partnership with the University of Scranton and Friendship House.
