Wanted - More Women Candidates

This program, which targets women interested in effective political participation, educates participants about:

  • the benefits of having more women in public office
  • the myths and realities of women's campaigns
  • the different lenses through which people evaluate female and male candidates
  • how to present yourself as a credible and viable candidate
  • effective campaign fundraising 

The goal is to prepare and inspire women in Northeast PA to run for public office, and/or to encourage and support other women to do so.

The program includes a continental breakfast and lunch.
