Students applying for need based financial aid, including loans, for the 2018-2019 academic year, should submit their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to the Department of Education by April 15, 2018. You can apply on-line at https://fafsa.ed.gov/
Guidelines for the Financial Aid Process, a renewal Financial Aid newsletter was emailed to students and parents in November. Please review this publication for 2018-2019 Financial Aid information especially the Hot Topic section regarding the 2018-2019 FAFSA, the Timeline to Follow, FAFSA Verification Requirements, Financing Your Scranton Education, and granting third party access to your financial aid and student account information.
Pennsylvania State Grant (PHEAA) recipients have a filing deadline of May 1, 2018. However, students must still file the FAFSA by April 15, 2018 to apply for institutional aid.
The Financial Aid Office will begin upper class processing the week of June 4, 2018.
