Scranton Brass Band Seminar

The Scranton Brass Band Seminar is an intensive non-curricular summer seminar focusing on various elements of brass playing through brass band performance. The primary focus of the 2018 seminar will be brass band rehearsal and performance and the seminar will be held the weekend of July 6-8. 

We will be enrolling a full brass band for an intensive weekend of masterclasses, clinics, coachings, rehearsals, and a final concert with selected members of The Scranton Brass Orchestra and guest artist-teachers Wycliffe Gordon (www.wycliffegordon.com) and Chris Jaudes (www.chrisjaudes.com), along with presentations by other guests TBA. Admissions decisions will be made on a rolling basis as applications are received until the band is full.
