Homer's The Iliad and The Odyssey


Who was Homer and how do we have his epics? We will review both The Iliad and The Odyssey (Robert Fagles' translations, both available at Amazon or on YouTube), and in the last class, Homer's impact up to today with an emphasis on Carl Jung's psychology.
