Interdependence and Civic Activism

Join us on Interdependence Day, September 12, 2018 beginning at 5:30PM for this dynamic panel discussion and reception as we welcome Gary Drapek -President and CEO of the United Way of Lackawanna and Wayne Counties, Ida Castro -Vice President for Community Engagement Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine, and our panel members Anis Adnani - GCSOM medical student originally from Algeria, Sahar Al-Masri - educator and Diversity Circle program facilitator originally from Kuwait, Lizzy Barret - Scranton High School student, and Rosalie Hume - civic activist originally from Australia.
The Program will begin with a slide presentation of the Hexagon Project by Beth Burkhauser and end with music by the Scranton High School Knight Rhythms vocal group.
