IN RECITAL: The Andrew Gonzalez Trio

Hailed by the Strad Magazine for his "warm-hearted playing and mellow tone", Andrew Gonzalez has collaborated with Itzhak Perlman, Gil Shaham, Shmuel Ashkenasi, and many others, and maintains an active career around the world as a soloist, chamber musician, teacher, and entrepreneur in music. Clarinetist Bixby Kennedy has performed solo recitals, and chamber music and orchestral concerts around the world and is an advocate of music both old and new. Both are members of Carnegie Hall’s “Ensemble Connect”. Their pianist Carlos Avila is one of the most in-demand pianists on the international classical music scene, and is also the pianist for The Boreal Trio.
