University Reading Series - Writer Christine Friedlander

The Department of English & Theatre with support from the Jane Kopas Women's Center presents Christine Friedlander-Writer, educator, and sexual assault survivor advocate.  friedlander is the author of a book of poems, Advan Gauze, which addresses, in part, her work with survivors of sexual assault, and a chapbook of fiction, Repeat After Me, which was the winner of the University of Southern Indiana's RopeWalk Press Fiction Chapbook Prize in 2015.  She is the poetry editor for Gigantic Sequins and published fiction, nonfiction, and poetry in journals including The Felt and Tarpaulin Sky Press Magazine.
