​It’s prom. Do you know where Carrie is? Stephen King’s tale of Carrie, the troubled, telekinetic teenager, has thrilled readers and film audiences, as well as baffling theatre critics after a disastrous 1988 Broadway debut. In this updated version, with a book by Lawrence D. Cohen, lyrics by Dean Pitchford, and music by Michael Gore, the creators have gone back to King’s novel and brought the spine-tingling into the 21st century, recapturing the gripping and tragic tale of Carrie.
