IT Forum, Event Management Systems
Thursday, 22 March, 2012
The next IT forum, set for Thursday, March 22, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., in Brennan Hall, room 509, will focus on the results of a recent study on Event Management Systems. The Information Management Advisory Committee (IMAC) has established a subcommittee to investigate software applications for Event Management solutions. The Event Management Committee, comprised of representatives from IT, development, alumni, the library, CTLE and finance, has reviewed seven products and identified RegOnline as the product we believe will best serve the needs of the University. Brianne Fitte, account executive for RegOnline, will present a demo of the software’s capabilities (via Webex) at the IT Forum on March 22.
If your department has a need to register attendees for an event (either with or without a fee), handle membership management or accept gifts online, this session is for you. The committee will make a strong case for the need for this type of software application so that funding will be considered. This IT forum is an opportunity for your department to give valuable input to make sure we are fully analyzing your needs and desires from the software. We hope to see you there!
