Northeastern Pennsylvania Mathematics Consortium Dinner and Lecture

The Department of Mathematics is hosting the Fifth Dinner Meeting of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Mathematics Consortium. The Mathematics Consortium was formed in 2007 to promote mathematics education by encouraging communication, scholarship, and professional development among the faculty at the colleges in Northeastern PA.
The keynote speaker is William Dunham, the Truman Koehler Professor of Mathematics at Muhlenberg College. Professor Dunham is the author of five books since 1990 and the winner of five writing awards from the Mathematical Association of America since 1993. His lecture is titled "Heron, Newton, Euler, and Barney."
