Asian Studies Hosts Open House

The University's Asian Studies program will host an open house on Tuesday, April 17, from 4 to 7 p.m. in Brennan Hall, room 509. Come learn about the program and courses offered at the University. Plus, there's food!

From 4 to 5 p.m., George Gomez, Ph.D., will host a cooking demo on Filipino cuisine. Reservations is closed. From 5 to 7 p.m., there will be a buffet-style Filipino cuisine, exhibit tables, presentations and more. Everyone is welcome!

The projects of the "Think Globally, Think Asia" student competition will also be displayed and judged during the open house. The winners will receive: first place - $100, second place - $50, and honorary mentions may receive $25. The winning projects will be posted on the Asian Studies website.
