USPB Mission and Identity: Rachel's Challenge

Tuesday, 25 September, 2012

USPB, in association with Students for Suicide Prevention, presents Rachel's Challenge on Tuesday, Sept. 25, at 8 p.m. in the Moskovitz Theatre, fourth floor of the DeNaples Center.

Rachel's Challenge is a series of student-empowering programs that aim to create a culture of kindness and compassion The programs are based on the writings and life of 17 year-old Rachel Scott who was the first student killed at Columbine High School in 1999. Rachel left a legacy of reaching out to those who were different, who were picked on by others, or who were new at her school. More than 15 million people have been touched by Rachel's message, and they continue the legacy of making a difference in their communities. Each year at least 2 million more people are added to that number. Come be a part of a life-changing experience with your friends and the rest of The University of Scranton Community.
There will be desserts as well as coffee and tea served.
