What is Interdependence?
Thursday, 20 September, 2012
Interdependence Day is upon us. Thursday, Sept. 20, is the date selected for the University’s event on Interdependence. This event brings students, staff and faculty together to discuss the meaning of Interdependence. You are invited to join a panel of local as well as global citizens; international students and study abroad returnees; as they share their perspectives and experiences on interdependence. This event hopes to “bring the peoples of the world closer together, to transcend hatred, bias, and resentment, and turn our energies to devising ways in which we can coexist creatively and collaboratively; We must narrow the widening gap between rich and poor, and the vast cultural, religious, economic, and political differences among us.” For more information, click here.
