Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Destructive Effects in Military and Civilian Populations
The lecture will focus on the causes, phenomenology and treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The risks of vulnerability and the factors of resilience to PTSD will be reviewed. We will examine the development of PSDT in the context of civilian disasters such as injuries and abuse as well as military combat.
