The Scranton Club of Lehigh Valley Canoe Trip

Join fellow alumni, family and friends for a canoe, bike and boat adventure. Explore the Lehigh River from an unspoiled view many never see. There will be a bike ride on the canal tow path from Bethlehem to Allentown, followed by a guided canoe trip down the river to Bethlehem. All equipment is provided by the Wildlands Conservancy.

Meet at Sand Island, Bethlehem, where guides will equip everyone with bicycles for the ride along the Lehigh Canal towpath to Allentown.  The trip will last between 4 - 5 hours.  There will be a lunch stop via canoe at Sterner Island (bring your own bag lunch).  For those interested, there will be a gathering at The Wooden Match after you return to Sand Island and disembark.
