"Interactive Music: Blurring the Line Between Audience and Artist"

Led by Professor Anthony T. Marasco, the program will feature works by 20th Century composers who ask both their performers and their audience members to make and experience music in a variety of unconventional manners.

Guest composer Monica Pearce will be on hand to talk about the challenges composers face when they allow chaos and chance to take control of their musical creations, and she will also premiere a brand new work written exclusively for University of Scranton students.
