9 a.m. - continuing throughout the day. Sand Mandala of Peace created by Tibetan monks from Gaden Shartse Monastic College in southern India. Atrium, Loyola Science Center. Free. 
 
6 p.m. -  Tibetan monks from Gaden Shartse Monastic College in southern India recitation of Tara Puja ritual and prayers with melodic music for inner peace and compassion, followed by a question and answer session, the dissolution (sweeping) of the Mandala, and blessing and distribution of sand. PNC Auditorium, Loyola Science Center. Free.
